Master the art of configuring, customizing, and troubleshooting ToolShop post processors for CNC laser, plasma, router, waterjet, and punch machines. Learn how to create machine-ready output tailored to your equipment and production requirements.
The ToolShop Machine Post Processor Training course is an advanced instructor-led class designed for experienced ToolShop users, CAD/CAM programmers, applications engineers, and manufacturing professionals responsible for configuring CNC machine output. Students will gain an in-depth understanding of ToolShop post processors, learning how machine code is generated, how to customize output, configure machine-specific parameters, troubleshoot programming issues, and optimize CNC output for maximum production efficiency. Real-world examples are used throughout the course to demonstrate how different controllers require unique programming formats. Students will work with actual post processor files while learning how to safely modify machine output for laser, plasma, router, waterjet, and punch systems. By the end of the course, participants will have the confidence to configure, maintain, and troubleshoot ToolShop post processors for virtually any supported CNC machine.
Completion of ToolShop CAD/CAM Fundamentals is highly recommended. Previous CNC programming experience is required. Basic understanding of G-Code is recommended.
